The SELECTABLE EQ band-count presets (#120), in the order the picker offers them —
what an availableEqPresets()-style API and the ProcessingStrip picker expose. Only
layouts whose classic nominal count already FITS the verified native cascade capacity
(EQ_MAX_BANDS) are offered (operator amendment): a layout that would need
subsampleToCap thinning to fit (the 31-band GEQ, against a 16-band cascade) is
never silently offered as if it were the full thing — its data still lives in
EQ_PRESET_DEFINITIONS (reachable via eqPresetById) for a future larger
cascade. Every offered preset ALSO seeds eqPresetPassFilters's HPF/LPF; only
the parametric bands differ here.
