    Function resolveRecordTaps

    • THE TAP-SET DERIVATION — the points a channel records at, from whatever it has stored.

stored absent means the kind's default; a stored set is INTERSECTED with the offer, in the OFFER's order. Both halves matter. The intersection is what stops a show saved on a desk whose inputs offered three points from asking a bus for a point its walk has no capture on — a take that quietly wrote such a file would be one nobody could explain, and filtering rather than refusing keeps the rest of the operator's decision, because the honest reading of a set is the members that still exist. The offer's order is what makes the answer signal order however the set was written, so a folder listing and a sidecar read the same way whoever wrote them.

The one derivation, with two front doors: channelRecordTaps asks it of a captured SNAPSHOT and the console's record row asks it of a live STRIP, exactly as channelRecordArmed and recordDefaultFor split the same question.
