The analyser tap points an operator can watch — the ONE tap vocabulary, read by both
instantiations of RtaToolbar (the channel's processing view and the standalone analyser
panel) so the two never offer different words for one thing.
pre | post | both are the EQ's two taps and their overlay. drive is the native drive
stage's straddle pair (2026-09-14-native-drive-stage.md, Amendment 2026-09-15 (b) §11d): the
signal leaving the stage drawn live over the signal entering it, so what the stage ADDED is
the gap between the two. It is offered only while the strip's drive stage is ENGAGED — see
