model did: with the default knee (kneeStartDb −43 … kneeEndDb −37, a 6 dB width) and the
default rangeDb floor (GATE_RANGE_FLOOR_DB, −90 dB), the native atom's ACT-BELOW slope
needs ratio − 1 == |rangeDb| / width to land exactly on the floor at kneeStartDb (see
@freemixer/server's gateStateToNativeDyn): 1 + 90/6 = 16. Read off
GATE_LIMITS.ratio's own declared default, the one place the number is stated.
