The band a ring may PLANT in, and the refusal outside it (#170, operator ruling
2026-08-19: "fix the edge clamps refusal first"). Measured on the rig, twice in one
session: detections at 11.7 Hz and past the top of the analysis range planted notches
CLAMPED to 20 Hz / 20 kHz — junk slots — and, worse, the clamp defeated the same-frequency
dedup (the raw candidate never equals the clamped plant), so one rumble source planted the
same 20 Hz notch twice. Nothing acoustic rings below ~60 Hz (a wedge loop's lowest modes
measured 123+), and a "ring" above 16 kHz is aliasing or junk. Both bounds are #170 tuning
knobs — move them with the operator's ear, never delete the refusal.
