overlay watches /spectrum at 10 Hz, and folding the pair in would compute two more windows
and two more FFTs per lane for every one of them, in service of a mode almost none of them is
in. Watching this address is how a surface declares it is in Δ drive, and it is the only
thing that publishes the stage's capture rings at all. Read-only: the lane's engagement has
one writer, on /channel/{kind}/{index}/rta/arming.
