The named tap-point presets — the default tap landmark set. Each resolves to a position in the (possibly reordered) chain. The set spans the six SSL Stem feed points (Post-Trim, Pre-Fader, Post-Insert-A, Post-Insert-B, Post-Fader, Post-All), the classic Pre-EQ / Post-EQ a console strip wants, and Top-Of-Ch — Roland's truly-raw channel-head pick-off, before any processing.

    • Top-Of-Ch — the channel head, before any processor (before gain/phase/ HPF/EQ/comp). Resolves to the chain input (the strip source). Roland's rawest Direct-Out point; rawer than Post-Trim.
    • Post-Trim — output of the trim/HPF stage (post head-amp, raw-ish split).
    • Pre-EQ — the input side of the EQ stage (output of whatever precedes EQ).
    • Post-EQ — output of the EQ stage.
    • Pre-Fader — the input side of the fader (output of whatever precedes the fader).
    • Post-Insert-A — output of the insert slot labelled A.
    • Post-Insert-B — output of the insert slot labelled B.
    • Post-Fader — output of the fader stage.
    • Post-All — output of the last processor in the chain (everything, incl. post-fader inserts).
