The parameter groups a channel can be recall-safed independently. The software
engine holds each strip's EQ, dynamics and inserts as one ordered processing chain,
so eq / dyn / inserts all guard that chain together (safing any of the three
preserves it); fader / mute / sends guard their own fields.
