    Type Alias PatchLivenessReason

    PatchLivenessReason:
        | "unlinked"
        | "source-absent"
        | "destination-absent"
        | "no-head"
        | "no-graph"

WHY a served patch endpoint is not carrying audio — the mark's cause, in a closed vocabulary a surface renders rather than a sentence it parses.

    • unlinked — the source port resolves in the live graph and NOTHING links it into the channel's head input. The patch is a wish nobody has laid; the stagebox is fine.
    • source-absent — the source port itself does not resolve: a stopped app stream, an unplugged stagebox, a device that has not enumerated.
    • destination-absent — the source is live and the head input port it waits on is not in the graph (a channel mid stereo-width reconfigure).
    • no-head — the graph can be asked and the surface names no head input for the channel, so no edge can be matched. A hole in the surface, not a fact about the audio.
    • no-graph — no live-graph mirror to ask at all. Nothing here can be judged either way.
