    Interface MatrixNative

    The native-node surface buildNativeMatrixControl adapts — the subset of NativeConsoleMixer the first-class MATRIX strip control (#146) drives.

    interface MatrixNative {
        maxBuses(): number;
        setMatrix(index: number, params: MixerMatrixParams): boolean;
        setMatrixPoint(index: number, source: number, level: number): boolean;
        setMatrixSource(index: number, slot: number, lane: number): boolean;
        setStripSend(
            strip: number,
            bus: number,
            tap: number,
            level: number,
        ): boolean;
        setStripToMain(strip: number, on: boolean): boolean;
        syncMatrices(
            lanes: readonly { channels: 1 | 2; name: string }[],
        ): readonly { l: string; r?: string }[];
    }
    Index
    • THE ROOF (#112): how many bus slots the node holds — matrix, aux and group together. Asked before any bus is built, so an over-allocation refuses with a code instead of throwing partway through construction and leaving no console.

      Returns number

    • Drive matrix index's own fader/mute/balance master stage, and the per-destination output delay that rides after it (outputDelayMs).

      Parameters

      • index: number
      • params: MixerMatrixParams

      Returns boolean

    • Set matrix index's crosspoint level for native source slot source.

      Parameters

      • index: number
      • source: number
      • level: number

      Returns boolean

    • Declare what source slot slot of matrix index is fed from: -1 = MAIN, >= 0 = a native bus lane, any other negative = no native source (task #29).

      Parameters

      • index: number
      • slot: number
      • lane: number

      Returns boolean

    • The (strip -> bus) send of the summing-bus law (tap 0 = post-fader, 1 = pre).

      Parameters

      • strip: number
      • bus: number
      • tap: number
      • level: number

      Returns boolean

    • ASSIGN / UN-ASSIGN one strip to the SUMMED MAIN — the destination with no column in that table, because the strip walk sums it (ctrl[strip].active).

      Parameters

      • strip: number
      • on: boolean

      Returns boolean

    • Reconcile the native matrix set to lanes — per-matrix channel count (2 = stereo, 1 = mono #170) and the lane's port BASE name (the bus's console identity, #162) — returning each matrix's own output port(s).

      Parameters

      • lanes: readonly { channels: 1 | 2; name: string }[]

      Returns readonly { l: string; r?: string }[]
