WHERE THIS TAKE CAME FROM, when it was minted by the offline pre-hit reverse render (
2026-07-15-native-delay-reverb.md, Amendment 2026-09-17 §G.4).The render never writes into the take it read: it mints a NEW take and puts the provenance HERE, in the sidecar, rather than in a filename convention — a name is a label an operator can change, and "which take is this a render of, over which frames, at which settings" is a fact a later render has to be able to read back. Optional and purely additive, like render and print: a recorded take carries no such key.
