    Interface TakePrint

    THE SHOW'S DELIVERABLE — the take's MAIN capture written out as a fixed-point print.

    The stems stay float and untouched; this is the one file that leaves the desk for a listener. Every field is measured off the samples as they were written, so a reader can tell a print that survived the show from one that arrived at the limit.

    }
    Index
    bits: 24

    Bits per sample in the print.

    channels: 1 | 2
    clippedSamples: number

    Samples that reached or exceeded full scale and were held at it.

    REPORTED, NEVER SILENT. A float capture may legitimately exceed 0 dBFS and a fixed-point container cannot carry that; the print holds those samples at the rail and says how many, so an operator learns from the export that the show clipped rather than from a listener.

    file: string

    The print's file inside the take folder, beside the stems it was made from.

    frames: number

    Frames written. Equal to the source's frames; a print never resamples and never trims.

    peakDbfs: number

    The loudest sample, in dBFS. -Infinity is not written: a silent print reports its floor.

    source: string

    The stem file it was printed from — the MAIN capture, named so the pair is traceable.
