    Interface ReadView

    What one READER of a row is: its resolution and its demand — the two things a served body may be narrowed by. A GET is the whole row (WHOLE_VIEW); a ?watch=1 subscriber answers from its own dial and demand list. Handed to ConsoleResource.served so a row's projection is written once and applied at both doors — the streams law's construction.

    interface ReadView {
        bands?: number;
        demandsInstance(path: string, id: ResourceId): boolean;
        reads(path: string): boolean;
    }
    Index
    bands?: number

    The reader's resolution — ?bands=N. Absent = the row as it stands.

    • Whether the reader asked for one instance of path.

      Parameters

      Returns boolean

    • Whether the reader asked for path ITSELF — its own address, a window over it, a demand entry naming it — as opposed to being owed it through a row it carries. A carried collection serves the whole frame to a reader that reads it and the demanded subset to one that only declared instances.

      Parameters

      • path: string

      Returns boolean
