    Interface LatencyStep

One element's latency contribution along a signal path, in milliseconds. A step is either a node/buffering stage (plugin absent) or a plugin insert (plugin set to its LV2 URI). latencyMs is the latency this element adds.

Where a value is unknown (e.g. a plugin that does not report lv2:latency), it is reported as 0 rather than guessed — see LatencyStep.known.

    Index
    known?: boolean

false when the latency could not be measured (e.g. a plugin with no lv2:latency port); latencyMs is then 0 and must not be treated as exact. Defaults to true for measured/derived steps.

    label: string

Human label for the step, e.g. "input buffer", "fader", "main bus".

    latencyMs: number

Latency this element adds, in milliseconds.

    plugin?: string

LV2 URI when this step is a plugin insert; absent for node/buffering steps.
