    Interface DriveState

The native DRIVE stage — the saturator a sound engineer reaches for when a source needs colour rather than correction (an internal spec).

ONE waveshaper, configured. curve picks the knee — and exciter picks the PARALLEL-SUM topology over the soft knee, which is what an Aural Exciter is. character is the ONE even/odd harmonic control (−1 pure odd, +1 pure even); the tube curve carries no private asymmetry of its own, because a second even-harmonic mechanism would have to be kept equal to this one by hand. band decides which part of the spectrum the curve is fed, over a COMPLEMENTARY split, so mix: 0 is bit-identical dry at every band.

mix is a PERCENT (the row's declared unit), latencySamples is DERIVED and read-only — the group delay the oversampler costs while the stage is on, 0 while it is off.
