The demo is a simulated stagebox, so with no inputWidths every input defaults to
mono (a bare allocation, same as before this parameter existed) — a stagebox has no
notion of a "stereo channel". inputWidths is the mechanism that lets a caller declare
app-style inputs (a DAW send, a media player) as stereo strips; it is simply threaded
through to presetAllocation / import('@freemixer/core').inputWidthOf.
