Overlay operator names from the persistent registry onto a freshly-detected device list: each
box whose KEY resolves to a stored name is re-labelled through stageboxWithOperatorName;
every other device passes through untouched. The single seam every stagebox-producing path runs
through (the server's hot-plug monitor, the list/devices replies) so a renamed box reads the
same name everywhere. nameFor is the registry lookup, injected so this stays pure + testable.
Matches on StageboxDevice.key, never the MAC directly: the registry recognises boxes by
their opaque key so a caller (or a future transport) cannot resolve a name by an address the
registry never indexed.
