A box's width, and WHERE that width came from — live device wins outright, the table is read only when no device answers, and the caller learns which so it can decide whether the result is worth a warning (a table answer for a DECLARED box is worth one; for a virtual box it is the whole point of the box and is not).
Parameters
- box: StageboxModelTokens
  the roster entry's own model fields — never a token typed at this call site
- liveDevice: StageboxDevice | undefined
  the matching detected device, or undefined when none answers right now
