Whether an endpoint is a stereo pair — two distinct ports (FL/FR, or any L≠R pair)
from a source. A mono endpoint has no r (or a degenerate r === l fan-out). This is
the canonical width predicate for a patched endpoint: assigning a stereo pair to a
channel makes the channel semantically stereo (the S tag + split L/R meter), a single
port keeps it mono.
