Whether a channel kind is a bus type the surface BANKS (see BusTypeDescriptor.banked); undefined for a kind that is not an allocatable bus at all.

The un-banked tier is the SINGULAR one — a console carries exactly one main mix, on its own dedicated master fader — which is why bus-label's channelDisplayLabel reads this to decide whether an index carries any information worth printing.
